I was about to give Portland and the state of Oregon it's walking papers in about 2 years. I some how want to stay because believe it or not, this is what it takes to wake up the dead both blacks and whites, to what it truly means to change the way that Oregon deals with her, communities of color, especially African Americans, Native Americans. Finally, the catalysis that is needed to bring about the "Historical Disproportional Racial Disparity of our Oregon African American and Native American Community. Just Don't Leave out the York Family, our history is intertwined with the African Amerian and Native American Trail Of Tears of 1844, Chef Joesph Nez Perce Tribe Evelyn Murray, President family Nurturing and Caring For Family, Inc.

Hay just wanted to say thank you for this informative site I grew up out here till I was 17. I returned when I was pregnant with my little man, Kenny. It's great to know there is a place to help me teach my son a little something about the other half his nationality.

Yep, we certainly need a center for African-American Heritage in the Northwest. The Golden West seems like a great place to put it.
