There is a generation of story tellers who are not passing along the history contained within their families or communities. Our network will address the needs to resolve that.
The Golden West Hotel -- a symbol of our history--was a vibrant place of employment and socializing for Portland’s African American community in the early 1900s.

OUR GOAL is to support necessary marketing, navigation and outreach in order to generate an interest in historical family and community preservation. Developing networks to build a online community that can nurture access to tools and information necessary for people to understand the value and process of historical preservation. This site will house blogs and information to help train and refer people to archiving services, and education. Black communities and those of color will benefit from direct access to our combined acumen and resources. Please Join Us!
